logocons

Frequently asked questions

What is logocons?
logocons is a curated library of 34,000+ app icon/logo references (procedural variations included) where every icon comes with the exact AI generation prompt that reproduces it. You can copy prompts, generate variations, and export store-ready icon bundles for iOS, Android and the web.
Is an app icon the same as an app logo?
Mostly, yes — app logo, logo icon and app icon all usually refer to the same thing: the square artwork on your home screen and in the App Store or Play Store listing. Strictly speaking, a logo is your broader brand mark (often including a wordmark) used on websites and marketing, while the app icon is a simplified, glyph-first version of it built to stay legible at small sizes inside the OS mask. Everything on logocons is an app icon in that store-ready sense — a 1024×1024 full-bleed square — and every prompt generates exactly that.
Is logocons free to use?
Browsing the gallery, customizing icons in the studio and previewing them under every store mask are free — and your first icon exports watermark-free when you sign up. After that, free exports carry a small watermark. To remove it, buy a single icon for $5 (yours forever, every studio version included) or get Lifetime for $20 once — every icon, unlimited, watermark-free, forever. Both are one-time purchases; there's no subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Every purchase is a one-time digital unlock delivered instantly, so it's generally non-refundable once you've exported the icon watermark-free. If something went wrong, email tkwon999@gmail.com within 14 days and we'll make it right. Payments run through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record — an approved refund is returned through it, and your unlock (or Lifetime access) is revoked automatically. See the terms page for the full policy.
What's inside an export bundle?
Each bundle contains an Xcode-ready AppIcon.appiconset with a 1024×1024 master, Android launcher mipmaps from mdpi to xxxhdpi plus the 512px Play Store icon, web icons including apple-touch-icon and a multi-size favicon.ico (plus favicon PNGs and SVG), a resolution-independent vector SVG of the artwork, pre-masked marketing renders (iOS squircle and Android circle), and the generation prompt as prompt.txt.
Are the icons App Store and Play Store compliant?
Yes. Every icon is a square, full-bleed 1024×1024 master with no transparency, no baked-in rounded corners (the OS applies its own mask), no text, and the glyph contained in the central 66% safe zone so it survives both the iOS squircle and Android circular masks.
How do I preview how an icon will look on a phone?
Every icon page has mask toggles for the iOS squircle, Android circle and Play Store rounded square, a trim view that shows exactly what each mask crops from the raw artwork, and a 66% safe-zone overlay.
What are variations?
Every catalog icon can be remixed procedurally — palette shifts, nine textures, radial and split backgrounds, glows and long shadows, plus dark, light and noir modes. Each click deals a fresh batch of sixteen, and applying one updates the prompt to match.
